Job summary

Integrated Scaffolding Concepts is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist leadmen with day-to-day activities on construction sites. You will help erect, maintain, and dismantle temporary scaffolding while working safely at heights and supporting experienced scaffold builders on site.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, laying planks, handling fall protection, and coordinating with crane operators. Prior scaffolding experience is helpful but not required; OSHA training preferred.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from job orders and work orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions carefully and accurately.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
  • OSHA training preferred.

Job Summary:

Integrated Scaffolding Concepts is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist leadmen with day-to-day activities, including erecting, maintaining, and dismantling temporary scaffolding for construction projects. This role involves working safely at heights and supporting experienced scaffold builders onsite

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Transport, unload, and organize scaffolding materials at job sites.
  • Assist the leadman in building and securing scaffolding to structures.
  • Lay planks and platforms for workers.
  • Install fall protection equipment as needed.
  • Help hoist and lower materials safely onto scaffolding.
  • Work with crane operators to rig materials onto platforms.
  • Inspect scaffolding and report any damage or safety concerns.
  • Use hand and power tools as needed.
  • Assist with scaffolding breakdown when projects are complete.
  • Follow all safety procedures and project plans.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Experience using various power/hand tools
  • Previousscaffolding experiencepreferred but not needed.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from job orders, & work orders
  • Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions carefullyand accurately
  • Basic math skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability touse andmaintaintools and equipment safely and correctly
  • Demonstrated commitment to following safety rules
  • Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
  • OSHA trainingpreferred
Physical Requirements
  • Able towork in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectiousmaterialsand possible inclement weather conditions.
  • Able to walk, sit, stand, bend,kneel,crouch, crawl,stretch,squatand climb, often in restricted spaces and at great heightsfor extended periods on ladders and scaffolding.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Good dexterity and coordination
  • Able to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Able to worksafetywith specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Able to see, talk and hear inpersonand phone.
  • Able tolift & carry items up toapproximately50lbs.
  • Able to understand and execute actionsbased on verbal and visual instructions.
