Job summary

Integrated Scaffolding Concepts is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist leadmen with erection, maintenance, and dismantling of temporary scaffolding on construction sites. You will work at heights, support skilled scaffold builders, and help ensure project safety and timely execution.

Responsibilities include material handling, assisting with setup, inspection, and breakdown, and coordinating with crane operators while following all safety procedures and work orders.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience using various power/hand tools.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and read job orders.

• Assist with scaffolding breakdown when projects are complete.
• Follow all safety procedures and project plans.

Job Summary:

Integrated Scaffolding Concepts is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist leadmen with day-to-day activities, including erecting, maintaining, and dismantling temporary scaffolding for construction projects. This role involves working safely at heights and supporting experienced scaffold builders onsite

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing, and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.

• Transport, unload, and organize scaffolding materials at job sites.
• Assist the leadman in building and securing scaffolding to structures.
• Lay planks and platforms for workers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the United States
• Experience using various power/hand tools
• Previousscaffolding experiencepreferred but not needed.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from job orders, & work orders
• Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instructions carefullyand accurately
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability touse andmaintaintools and equipment safely and correctly
• Demonstrated commitment to following safety rules
• Reliable transportation to and from work daily.
• OSHA trainingpreferred

Physical Requirements:

• Able towork in an outdoor construction work environment with potential exposure to dust, noise, waste, toxic and infectiousmaterialsand possible inclement weather conditions.
• Able to walk, sit, stand, bend,kneel,crouch, crawl,stretch,squatand climb, often in restricted spaces and at great heightsfor extended periods on ladders and scaffolding.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Good dexterity and coordination
• Able to wear required personal protective equipment.
• Able to worksafetywith specialized construction equipment, tools, and materials.
• Able to see, talk and hear inpersonand phone.
• Able tolift & carry items up toapproximately50lbs.
• Able to understand and execute actionsbased on verbal and visual instructions.
