Job summary

Gulf Island is seeking an Offshore Scaffold Builder to support steel fabrication projects on our offshore facilities. You will erect, dismantle, and position scaffolding, ensuring safe work platforms and compliance with procedures.

The role requires 2+ years offshore scaffold experience, ability to communicate clearly, and the ability to pass physical, drug screen, and background checks. Valid TWIC card is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in offshore scaffold building.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a background check.
• Valid TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding to provide safe work platforms
• Fit together steel pipe, support braces and clamps
• Lift and position scaffolding, bolt pipe and place planks
• Use various hand tools
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with operating procedures
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
