Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Lead to assist in the construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures at job sites. You will work at heights, handle basic hand tools, and ensure safe, compliant erection and dismantling.

1–2 years of scaffolding experience is preferred; education requirements are flexible. This role emphasizes safety and adherence to site-specific and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• Experience – 1-2 Years’ Experience In a Scaffolding Preferred.
• Ability to work at heights and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Determine type of scaffold needed.
• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for stability.
• Adhere to OSHA and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Dismantle scaffolding when instructed and inspect/stow materials after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
