Job summary

The Industrial Company (TIC) in Mississippi is looking for a skilled worker to erect and dismantle scaffolding, operate heavy equipment, and rig loads on a variety of construction projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with prior field experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and spoken instructions and communicate effectively with supervision.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and layout tools.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine scope, quantities, and material sizes.
• Identify tools required and measure/cut materials accordingly.
• Erect and disassemble scaffolding and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
• Construct, reinforce, and dismantle pre-constructed scaffolds and wooden scaffolds.
• Perform rigging of equipment loads.
