Job Description Summary

Scaffold Helper

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold Helper 2 to assist in the erection and dismantling of various types of scaffolding by passing material to other crew members from the ground level or stationary position on the scaffold. The candidate will also assist in the stacking of material for shipping and keep the work area safe, neat and orderly throughout the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in erection and dismantling of scaffolding
• Pass material to crew members
• Stack material for shipping
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Some trade school preferred but not required
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of scaffolding materials
• Familiarity with erection process and required components per scaffold layout
• Proper tools available
• Bilingual is a plus but not required

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• General knowledge of scaffolding materials

Physical Demands

The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
