Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter in Pensacola, FL. The role includes assisting in stacking and counting scaffolding materials on-site and off-site, and supporting the Lead Carpenter and Foreman as a mentor to junior helpers.

Qualifications

Knowledge of various types of scaffolding materials.
Ability to erect and dismantle scaffolding under supervision of Foreman/Lead Carpenter.
Experience as Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for at least 1 year or equivalent.
Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in stacking and counting scaffolding materials received on the job site or shipped from the job site.
Mentor and coach E/D Helpers 1 and 2 under the Lead Carpenter/Foreman.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter.

Assist in the stacking and counting of scaffolding materials being received on the job site or being shipped from the job site, along with preparing material to be shipped.

Assist the Lead Carpenter and/or Foreman by acting as a mentor and coach to the E/D Helpers 1 and 2 to aid in their development.

Education or Experience

Some trade school preferred but not required
Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for a minimum of 1 year or approved equivalent experience
Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights
Bilingual a plus

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Knowledge and use of various types of scaffolding materials
Must be able to erect and dismantle scaffolding under the supervision of the Foreman and/or Lead Carpenter
Must have a general knowledge of the different types and sizes of scaffolding materials being used
Must have the proper tools

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
