Job summary

AspenTech is seeking energetic and self-driven engineering technicians to join our team as they support a DoD customer near Columbia, MD. You will design, implement, administer and maintain the client's Electrical SCADA system across campus and enterprise sites.

Strong teamwork and customer-focused attitude are essential. Requires 5+ years field experience and an Associate Degree in Building Automation Technology or related field; familiarity with HVAC/SCADA controls and field testing are

Qualifications

5+ years field or service experience in building automation, HVAC or SCADA systems.
Associate degree in Building Automation Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
Ability to read electrical lines/blueprints and work on multiple projects in parallel.
Knowledge of electric utilities, power systems and networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist project engineers in completing SCADA system database and display design packages.
Create and integrate SCADA databases and displays with field equipment on customer systems.
Complete field testing of SCADA system changes and document results.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and communication issues in real time.
Work in HVAC, PLC, building automation and industrial control environments.
