Job summary

AspenTech is seeking energetic engineering technicians to support the Electrical SCADA system for a major DoD client near Columbia, MD. You will assist project engineers by designing, implementing and testing SCADA databases and displays, and by coordinating with field equipment.

Candidates should have 5+ years of field or service experience in building automation or industrial controls, plus an Associate Degree or equivalent training. Strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field or service experience in a related discipline.
• Associate Degree in Building Automation Technology, Mechanical or Electrical Technology, or other technical focus or 5 years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings/blueprints and follow electrical lines.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers in completing SCADA system database and display design packages.
• Create and integrate SCADA databases and displays with field equipment.
• Support field testing of SCADA system changes during commissioning events.
• Troubleshoot and resolve real-time system and communication issues.
