Job summary

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer – SCADA System Supervisor / Integrator to supervise PS&C staff and oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of asset maintenance, repairs, installations, testing, and documentation of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in SCADA and related control system design & integration.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in design, installation, integration, testing and maintenance of control systems.
• Experience with system integration across industry-leading and legacy technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, program and implement systems integration processes.
• Oversee staff in preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and new installations per plan and budget.
• Monitor performance, quality and safety; maintain records; direct testing and investigations.
• Conduct field inspections and site investigations; respond to malfunctions and audit recommendations.
• Review design and construction submittals; plan upgrades and prepare estimates, schedules, and reports.
