Job summary

Executive Decision LLC in the NYC metro area seeks a Senior SCADA Engineer with a strong electrical and panel-building background to lead design, integration, and commissioning of industrial control systems for water, utilities and critical infrastructure projects.

You will develop Allen-Bradley PLC/HMI solutions (ControlLogix, Studio 5000), prepare schematics and BOMs, perform FAT/SAT on-site, mentor juniors, and uphold cyber security and NEC/IEC standards while working hands-on with clients

Qualifications

MS degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
10–12 years of progressive experience in industrial controls, SCADA, or panel engineering.
Deep hands-on expertise with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI platforms.
Panel-building experience to UL 508A; ability to read and modify electrical schematics.
Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and grounding for control panels.
Experience commissioning systems in live industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Lead design, build, and commissioning of UL 508A panels for SCADA and process control.
Develop and maintain PLC programs on Allen-Bradley platforms (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Studio 5000).
Engineer electrical schematics, panel layouts, BOMs, and wiring diagrams.
Integrate field instrumentation, VFDs, and I/O with SCADA HMI platforms (AVEVA/Wonderware, FactoryTalk, Ignition).
Conduct FAT, SAT, loop checks, and on-site commissioning at client facilities.
Mentor junior engineers and review designs with clients and project teams.
