Job summary

Gilbert seeks a highly motivated SCADA Programmer to design, program, and maintain SCADA software across local and wireless networks for our water infrastructure. The role reports to the Utility Supervisor and requires hands-on work with PLCs, HMIs, SQL databases, and Windows systems.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or two-year technical certification, 5+ years in system programming and networking, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ADEQ Grade I Water Distribution or Wastewater

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical certification required.
• Five+ years in system programming, networking, and database operations with SCADA/HMI/PLC experience.
• Valid Arizona driver's license and ADEQ Grade I certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Designing, programming, and maintaining SCADA software across networks.
• Providing network administration and technical support for SCADA-connected systems.
• Managing SCADA reporting, SQL databases, Windows operating systems, and data backups.
• Supporting SCADA hardware and software, including third-party vendors.
• Troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and related control systems.
