Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities, and operations in Sweetwater, Texas. You will work on troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of control systems for pipelines and gas facilities.

The role requires technical skills for maintaining electrical systems as well as compliance with DOT and safety standards. A high school diploma is required with relevant experience preferred, alongside comprehensive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving record.
• Extensive knowledge of DOT regulations for documentation.
• Experience using control solutions software.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrument and electrical technical support.
• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems.
• Participate in call out/on call requirements.

Skills

Proficiency with MS Office Suite

Ability to maintain motor controls

Knowledge of National Electrical Code

Experience with control solutions software

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate’s Degree in Instrumentation
