Job summary

City of Boise seeks an Integration and Controls Specialist to monitor, maintain, and improve automated control systems across water treatment and collection facilities. You will support SCADA systems, update interfaces, and help manage data for EPA reporting while contributing to a safe, reliable water supply for Boise.

The role requires strong experience with PLCs, SCADA, and HMI, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience programming and connecting SCADA software (System Platform Galaxy and Historian), Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Design and modify PLC/HMI programs to support plant process control changes.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, and electrical systems in automation environments.
• Coordinate with IT for control system security and network access for contractors.
