Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. seeks an Operations Systems/Controls Developer to design, implement, and support SCADA, MES, and information-management solutions on the plant floor in Green Bay.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, IT, and contractors to deliver safe, efficient production enhancements. Responsibilities include programming, tag configuration, graphics and dashboards; maintaining documentation; and leading projects with 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Business or related field
• 3+ years experience in Operations Systems/Industrial Control Systems (preferred in manufacturing)
• SCADA, HMI, MES, Historian, Reporting/Dashboard, and Programming skills (Ignition Perspective preferred)
• Hardware/software configuration, architecture, and design understanding
• Database skills (SQL), and reporting
• Python scripting ability
• Understanding of PLC concepts and execution
• Travel up to 20%

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and install SCADA, MES, and information-management solutions
• Design solutions to improve safety, efficiency, control, and performance
• Provide issue support, troubleshooting, and proactive maintenance (24/7 availability)
• Manage projects, plan system implementations, and build system documentation and training
• Prioritize requests and manage backlog of system opportunities
• Implement PLC programming and communications configurations as needed
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety/Quality Plans and customer requirements
