Job summary

Carolina Cat seeks a dynamic SCADA Integration Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support SCADA systems in diverse facilities such as data centers, energy, healthcare, water treatment, and manufacturing.

The role focuses on design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA, HMI, and control solutions, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and client satisfaction, across field assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with SCADA systems, industrial automation, or field service engineering.
• Proficiency with SCADA platforms and HMI/OIPs; familiarity with PLCs and programming.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, serial, TCP/IP and Modbus protocols; strong troubleshooting.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, modify, test and commission SCADA systems at client sites.
• Design, implement and maintain SCADA software for energy management and controls.
• Integrate SCADA with PLCs, RTUs, sensors and network components; ensure interoperability.
• Develop and modify HMI/OP panels (Aveva/Wonderware, RedLion).
• Provide technical support, issue resolution, and documentation updates.
