Job summary

Prime Partners in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced SCADA Manager to lead the SCADA engineering team and oversee SCADA operations, project delivery, and OT initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SCADA, controls, Ignition, and OT, with proven experience managing engineering teams, projects, budgets, and stakeholder relationships.

This role balances people management, project execution, technical quality, and strategic planning for a hands-on technical leader.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of experience in SCADA, controls, industrial automation.
Experience managing SCADA projects, programs, or project portfolios.
Strong knowledge of SCADA and process control systems.
Ignition Core Certified is required.
Solid understanding of OT cybersecurity, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the SCADA engineering team, including workload, priorities, performance, and resource allocation.
Oversee day-to-day SCADA operations and project portfolios, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Establish priorities based on business needs and project demands.
Manage project budgets, schedules, deliverables, SLAs, and stakeholder expectations.
Provide technical oversight of SCADA and process control engineering activities.
Coordinate with architecture, cybersecurity, and other teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and career development of SCADA staff.
Develop and implement SCADA standards, architectures, and engineering processes.
