Modern Machining Solutions Inc. seeks a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flows across gas, solar, and wind assets.

You will collaborate with site teams to maintain reliability of control and data systems and provide technical analyses and evaluations of new technologies. You will design and maintain Ignition SCADA systems, manage OT SCADA hardware, develop data flows for advanced analytics, and work with IT to ensure cybersecurity and compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree; 3–6 years industry experience.
• Expert level Ignition and AVEA PI mandatory.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Ignition certification preferred.
• Proficient with Python scripting.
• Knowledge of power plant components and protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System, (Gateways, new Screens, create alarms, historian and integration).
• Manage OT SCADA equipment, including servers and point configurations within the device(s) and ensure systems are up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective, facilitating advanced analytics and visualization of Operational Data.
• Troubleshoot and maintain connections between OT equipment – i.e., controls systems, Remote Intelligence Gateways (RIG), RTU’s, Campbell Scientific data loggers, etc.
• Maintain data connections between Remote Operations Center, corporate data servers and OEM SCADA, RTU, OPC Servers, etc.
• Coordinate with IT (internal and 3rd party) as primary point of contact for plant operations.
• Provide NERC CIP guidance and support to ensure all assets are in compliance
• Support SCADA lifecycle refresh and support internal AI Initiatives.
