Job summary

Henderson Group in Denver is seeking a SCADA Engineer to support OT equipment and data flows across gas, solar and wind assets. You will partner with Site Managers, engineering and operations to ensure reliability of control and data systems and support analytics, AI initiatives.

The role requires expert Ignition and AVEA PI proficiency, a BS degree with 3–6 years of experience, and familiarity with RTU, DNP, OPC, Modbus, and PI data historians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3–6 years of experience or equivalent.
• Expert in Ignition and AVEA PI is mandatory.
• Experience with Renewable and Gas power systems.
• Familiarity with OT equipment such as SCADA, RTU, PI data historians, and protocols like DNP, OPC, Modbus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Ignition SCADA System, including gateways, screens, alarms, historian and integration.
• Manage OT SCADA equipment and keep servers and configurations up to date.
• Develop data flows and displays in Ignition Perspective for advanced analytics and visualization.
• Troubleshoot connections between OT equipment (RTUs, gateways, data loggers) and control systems.
• Coordinate with IT as primary contact for plant operations.
