Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking an SBA Business Development Officer to expand our SBA presence. You will lead externally sourced loan opportunities from initial contact through closing, focusing on acquisitions, expansions, refinances, CRE, and working capital financing.

The role requires 2–5+ years SBA lending experience and strong relationship building with business brokers, CPAs, attorneys, and bankers. You’ll work in a remote-capable environment with a strong team support network.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years SBA lending experience.
• Annual SBA 7(a) production of $15 million or greater.
• Knowledge of SBA SOP, credit principles, and 7(a) process.
• Develop and maintain external referral relationships for SBA opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand a network of SBA referral partners.
• Screen opportunities for SBA eligibility and structure transactions.
• Prepare a BDO workbook with cash flow analysis and risk considerations.
• Coordinate with SBA credit, underwriting, and closing teams through loan lifecycle.
• Communicate timelines and terms clearly to borrowers and partners.
