Job summary

MMC Group LP in Irving, TX is hiring a Special Assets Portfolio Officer to own non-performing SBA 7(a) loans. You will manage default lifecycles, file liquidation plans, and coordinate with the NGPC in Herndon, VA to recover guaranteed capital.

You will supervise legal recovery work, collateral disposition, and borrower negotiations while ensuring compliance with SBA SOP 50 57, FDCPA, and applicable lending laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5-7 years SBA 7(a) default management and loan workouts experience.
• Deep knowledge of SBA SOP 50 57 and FDCPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage non-performing SBA 7(a) loans through default lifecycle.
• Prepare SBA Liquidation Plans and oversee NGPC submissions.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on bankruptcy and foreclosures.
• Oversee collateral liquidation and note-sale analyses.
• Negotiate settlements and forbearance with borrowers.
