Job summary

Arizona Financial Credit Union is seeking an SBA Liquidation Specialist in Phoenix to manage delinquent SBA 7(a) and other government-guaranteed loans through workout and liquidation processes. You will coordinate with the SBA Credit Officer and legal counsel to preserve guaranties, maximize recoveries, and minimize losses across the portfolio.

The role requires strong knowledge of SBA SOPs, negotiation skills, and experience with complex workouts and collateral disposition.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years financial services experience with 3–5 years SBA liquidation/workout experience.
• Strong understanding of SBA Liquidation SOP and related regulations.
• Knowledge of bankruptcy, foreclosure, and collateral disposition processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage delinquent and defaulted SBA 7(a) and government-guaranteed loans.
• Administer SBA liquidation plans, collateral disposition, foreclosure, and recovery actions.
• Coordinate with SBA Credit Officer and SBA Loan Servicing to meet SOP requirements.
• Prepare guaranty purchase packages and wrap-up reports to maximize recovery.
• Engage with legal counsel on bankruptcy, litigation, and judgments and monitor related costs.
• Provide management reporting on recoveries, charge-offs, and portfolio risk.
• Assist with special assets assessment and recommend workout or liquidation strategies.
