Job summary

Waterstone LSP, LLC is seeking an SBA Servicing Manager to lead the servicing operations across the loan portfolio. You will supervise payment processing, compliance, and reporting while maintaining strong partner relationships with banks and investors.

The role requires deep SBA servicing knowledge, data accuracy, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of SBA loan servicing, commercial lending operations, banking, or related experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of SBA 7(a) loan servicing requirements and reporting obligations.
• Strong understanding of loan accounting, reconciliations, treasury management, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all servicing activities for SBA loan portfolios.
• Manage borrower payment processing, loan payoffs, principal reductions, interim interest payments, and payment reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of loan activity within servicing platforms and accounting systems.
• Oversee delinquency management, NSF transactions, payment reversals, and loan repurchases.
• Maintain loan servicing records and documentation in accordance with SBA requirements and company policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify servicing issues requiring corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with SBA SOPs, servicing requirements, and investor reporting obligations.
• Oversee preparation and submission of SBA Form 1502 reports and FTA reporting files.
• Maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation.
• Support audits by validating data accuracy and ensuring documentation completeness.
• Develop and implement processes that strengthen operational controls and regulatory compliance.
