Candidates should have a JD, bar admission, 2+ years SBA lending experience, strong advocacy, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and complex financial documents.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission.
• 2+ years of SBA lending, federal loan workout, or related legal matters.
• Strong understanding of SBA regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients in SBA EIDL matters, including loan modifications and repayment negotiations.
• Represent clients in SBA loan defaults, demand letters, and Treasury referrals.
• Draft and review personal guaranty agreements and loan authorization packages.
• Counsel clients on SBA EIDL compliance obligations.
• Coordinate with loan service centers and SBA offices as needed.
• Assist clients facing SBA litigation, judgment enforcement, or bank levies.
• Advise on related government-backed lending programs.
• Represent clients before SBA offices of Hearings and Appeals.
• Monitor SBA regulatory changes and advise accordingly.
