Job summary

Farmers and Merchants Bank of Long Beach is seeking a GGL Relationship Manager I to support SBA/government-guaranteed lending growth and portfolio management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of Government Guaranteed lending or related credit experience.
• Experience supporting GGL transactions in the $1MM–$25MM range.
• Strong underwriting support and relationship management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage GGL relationship coverage plans with the GGL Manager.
• Support COI development and targeted prospecting activities.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified GGL opportunities and follow up regularly.
• Analyze borrower financial statements and guarantor strength, including cash flow and liquidity.
• Support underwriting using DSCR, LTV, guarantor analysis, and industry/market analysis.
• Ensure compliance with SBA and State Guarantee programs and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Branch, Credit, Operations, Legal, and Treasury teams.
• Monitor and manage the Government Guaranteed loan portfolio and annual covenant monitoring.
