Job summary

Devon Bank is seeking a Vice President SBA Commercial Loan Officer to join our Chicago team. You will identify and meet with clients seeking SBA 7(a) and 504 loans and analyze financial data to determine credit worthiness.

You will manage a portfolio of commercial loan clients, cultivate relationships, and present loan proposals to Loan Committee. A strong background in SBA lending and credit analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• Prior SBA or C&I Commercial Loan Officer or SBA portfolio management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of SBA 7(a) and 504 loan programs essential.
• Credit analysis experience with formal training program.
• Proficiency in Windows Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Identify new potential commercial loan clients and manage a portfolio of current commercial loan customers.
• Maintain and grow the assigned portfolio and customer base.
• Collect documentation and financials for Credit Department and Loan Operations analysis.
• Work with Credit Department on due diligence.
