Job summary

Hëda in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced SBA Closing Officer to own SBA 7(a) closings from credit approval through funding. You will prepare closing packages, review terms and conditions, and serve as the primary contact for borrowers, brokers, attorneys and title/escrow partners.

The role is hybrid with set in-office days, focusing on compliant closings and timely handoffs with underwriting, credit and servicing to ensure funding within approved timelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SBA loan closing experience; 7(a) required (504 a plus)
• Strong working knowledge of the SBA SOP, 7(a) program rules and closing procedures
• Solid understanding of collateral documentation, title/escrow procedures and legal loan documents
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and deadline management
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple closings at once with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Close SBA 7(a) loans from credit approval through funding.
• Review SBA terms, conditions, credit memos and closing conditions for accuracy and eligibility.
• Prepare closing documents including the Note, Guarantees, security instruments, UCC filings, compliance agreements and SBA-required forms.
• Review settlement statements, escrow instructions and wire requests.
• Coordinate handoffs with Underwriting, Credit, Servicing and Post-Closing.
