Woodgrain in Elkin, NC is seeking an experienced Sawmill Production Supervisor to lead safety, quality and productivity in the sawmill department. You will manage daily activities of the team, support production scheduling, inventory control, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement and teamwork across shifts.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience in a lumber or manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proven skills in planning,

Qualificações

• Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in a lumber production facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and ability to analyze production data to reduce waste.
• Experience analyzing production data to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Leads safety, quality, and morale objectives for the Sawmill Department.
• Assists with developing long-range and short-term plant objectives aligning with business goals.
• Drives continuous improvement and leads daily Tailgate meetings.
• Plans production targets and delegates resources to meet schedule and quality specs.
• Trains and develops hourly employees and manages timesheets.
• Train and develop hourly employees and address performance issues.
• Work swing shifts and maintain safe working conditions.
