You will lead daily maintenance, preventive programs, budgeting, and collaboration with production to meet schedules and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, a mechanical background, and a track record in continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 5+ years of maintenance leadership.
• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience in sawmills or wood products preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Proficient in CMMS and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety-focused leadership of maintenance team and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Schedule resources to minimize downtime and maximize reliability.
• Collaborate with production to meet specs, schedules, and quality.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets and cost control.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct audits and training.
• Communicate maintenance updates and performance metrics to management.
• Pursue continuous improvement and adoption of new maintenance methods.
• Lead special projects to support mill goals.
