The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and keeping blades in optimal condition to sustain quality output across production lines.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a sawfiler or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in operating filing room equipment and saw blade maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Sharpen, maintain, and repair circular and band saw blades to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate and maintain filing room equipment, such as grinders, sharpeners, and tensioners.
• Inspect saw blades for defects, meeting high quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with saw blades and related equipment.
• Keep track of saw blade inventory and required supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on saw blades.
• Collaborate with mill operators to ensure seamless production processes.
