Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or lumber operations preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and precision tooling.

Responsibilities

• Level and tension saws to specification.
• Sharpen and grind blades and knives used in sawmill operations.
• Operate sharpening machines and use hand tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and inspect equipment for wear.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout and safety procedures.
• Repair blades and guides per specifications and weld when needed.
