Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Amarillo, TX to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. You will be a key part of our pallet production process.

The role offers steady hours (Mon-Fri 7:00am-2:30pm) with overtime as needed, competitive hourly pay of $16.00, and benefits including PTO and health coverage. Prior lumber/warehouse or carpentry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
