48forty Solutions is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Houston. You will set up builders and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallets, contributing to the pallet manufacturing process.

This role offers hourly pay and a first shift of 6:00am–2:30pm, with overtime as needed. Located at 4847 Blaffer St, Houston, TX 77026, you will join a team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
