48forty Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood for pallets. You will play a key role in our pallet manufacturing process and ensure quality, efficiency, and safety on the line.

This role offers hourly pay of $14.00 plus piece rate, first shift Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, at our facility located at 4847 Blaffer St, Houston.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse or carpentry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication with team and management.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets.
• Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
• Communicate with plant management regularly.
• Work overtime as needed.
