Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Lubbock, TX to set up and operate power saws for cutting and trimming wood pallets. You will play a key role in our pallet manufacturing process and work Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Starting pay is $15 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for overtime. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and experience in lumber or warehouse environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
