Job summary

UFP Minneota, LLC is seeking a Saw Operator I to set up and operate a single-blade saw, reading production scheduling sheets to determine the required material for the operation. You will ensure material meets quality specifications, perform setups, feed material, and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Pre-shift inspections and production records will be part of your responsibilities. Starting pay is $14.50 per hour, with the pay range potentially adjusted by cost of living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment.
• Working knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a single-blade saw.
• Read production scheduling sheets and identify required material.
• Ensure materials meet quality specifications and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Complete pre-shift inspections and maintain production records.
• Assist with safety and quality procedures as required.
