Job summary

UFP Packaging, LLC is seeking a Saw Operator I to setup and run a single-blade saw, reading production schedules to identify material needs. You will set up and feed material, and keep a clean, safe work area while recording production data.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least 18, and 3 months of saw/equipment experience. A basic math skill and attention to quality are preferred. This role is on-site in Ohio and part of a safety-conscious team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a single-blade saw according to specifications.
• Feed material and align to production schedule.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Maintain production records and ensure quality compliance.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and preventive maintenance.
