Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Saw Operator for a leading manufacturing client. The role involves operating various saws, interpreting blueprints, and performing routine maintenance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a square accurately.
• Must be capable of minor welding to hold stock together when cutting multiple pieces.
• Ability to operate a forklift and unload trucks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate various saws to cut materials per specifications.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine cutting requirements.
• Maintain saw equipment; change blades for different materials.
• Perform quality checks to meet industry standards and specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area per safety protocols.
