Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Saw Operator for a leading manufacturing client. The role involves operating various saws, interpreting blueprints, and performing routine maintenance to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use a square accurately.
• Must be capable of minor welding to hold stock together when cutting multiple pieces.
• Ability to operate a forklift and unload trucks as needed.

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization dedicated to producing high-quality components, is seeking a Saw Operator to join their team. As a Saw Operator, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Saw Operator

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Operate various saws to cut materials according to detailed specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine precise cutting requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment, including changing blades for different materials to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times.
