Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
• Basic math and measurement skills to ensure accurate cuts.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Physical ability to lift materials and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review job prints and instructions before cutting material.
• Verify material type, color, and specifications against job requirements.
• Inspect materials for defects before cutting.
• Ensure saws and measuring tools are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Set up saws properly, including blade selection and alignment.
• Accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure precise cuts.
• Measure and mark materials before cutting.
• Cut materials according to job specifications and tolerances.
• Perform quality checks on each cut piece.
• Adjust saw settings for different materials and thicknesses.
• Handle materials safely during cutting and transportation.
• Stack cut materials neatly and label them correctly.
• Dispose of scrap materials properly and organize usable drops.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and sweep debris.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment and report issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and debris removal.
• Perform routine maintenance on saw equipment and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
• Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
