Job summary

American Bin and Conveyor is seeking a Saw Operator / Fabrication Material Coordinator to join our fabrication team in a hands-on manufacturing role. You will measure and cut steel, read fabrication drawings, organize materials for welders, and build material kits while safely operating overhead cranes and forklifts to keep production moving.

Ideal candidates are safety-minded, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and able to plan ahead in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure to 1/16" accurately.
• Stay organized and manage changing priorities.
• Safety-focused approach when handling steel and industrial equipment.
• Able to learn and apply new fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut steel using vertical and horizontal band saws.
• Read cut lists, work instructions, and basic fabrication drawings.
• Organize, prepare, and stage materials for welders and fabricators.
• Build complete material kits for upcoming production.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts and rig loads as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with other fabrication tasks.
