American Bin and Conveyor is seeking a hands-on Saw Operator / Fabrication Material Coordinator to join the fabrication team in Burlington, WI. You will measure and cut steel, read fabrication drawings, and organize materials for welders and fabricators as part of a busy production line.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to plan ahead as you build material kits, rig loads, and operate cranes and forklifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/16".
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan ahead and manage changing priorities.
• Safety-focused approach to working with steel and industrial equipment.
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane.
• Understanding of proper rigging, load balance, and center of gravity.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Dependable team player who can also work independently.
• Successfully complete the pre-hire physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut steel using vertical and horizontal band saws.
• Read cut lists, work instructions, and basic fabrication drawings.
• Organize, prepare, and stage materials for welders and fabricators.
• Build complete material kits for upcoming production.
• Think ahead and anticipate material needs.
• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Properly rig loads and determine center of gravity for safe, balanced lifts.
• Assist with other fabrication processes as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
