Job summary

American Bin & Conveyor is seeking General Labor/Shipping/Receiving Clerks for our Burlington, Wisconsin facility. You will move components, verify incoming shipments, and help in loading and shipping, while supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

We value safety, active workers, and reliability. Training is provided for equipment operation, and a strong team ethic is essential for keeping production moving.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming parts and materials against packing slips and PO numbers.
• Prepare finished products for shipping (packing, staging, crating, loading).
• Load and unload fabricated equipment and parts.
• Monitor shipped products for quality and completeness.
• Package, band, and palletize equipment for shipment.
• Transport materials between departments using forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Assist fabrication, paint, shipping, and assembly teams as needed.
• Keep shop, yard, and inventory areas organized.
• Adhere to all safety policies and wear PPE.

American Bin and Conveyor is looking for a General Labor/Shipping/Receiving Clerks at our Burlington, Wisconsin manufacturing facility.This isn't a position where you'll spend your entire day driving a forklift or picking orders. You'll work throughout our production facility helping move fabricated components, verify incoming shipments, prepare equipment for shipment, load trucks, maintain the yard, and support multiple departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Every day is different, and you'll be an important part of keeping production moving.What You’ll Be DoingVerify incoming parts and materials against packing slips and purchase orders.Prepare finished product for shipping by packing, staging, crating and loading.Load and unload fabricated equipment and partsMonitor product being shipped for quality.Package, band, and palletize equipment for shipment.Transport materials between departments using forklifts and overhead cranes.Assist fabrication, paint, shipping, and assembly teams as production needs change.Keep the shop, yard, and inventory areas organized.Support maintenance and other shop activities when needed.Complies with all company safety policies and procedures and practices safe work habits.Other duties as assigned by management.We're looking for someone who:Has experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Likes staying active and working on their feet.Can safely operate equipment or is willing to learn.Takes pride in safety and in helping a team succeed.Ability to use basic mathematics and measurements.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.Agree to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company.Successfully pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical.American Bin & Conveyor offers employees and their families a comprehensive benefit package to ensure their personal and family’s overall health and wellness needs are met.
