Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and precise measurements.
• Proven experience as a Saw Operator in manufacturing or production.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate saw equipment to cut materials to exact measurements and specifications.
• Set up and adjust machine settings for accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect materials for quality and consistency before and after cutting.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on saw equipment.
• Safely move materials to and from work areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or related equipment.
• Maintain organized inventory and material storage areas.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and daily goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or formal training in saw operation and material handling
• Hands-on experience with band saws and chop saws
• Valid Forklift Certification
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
