Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read shop orders and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read shop orders to determine setup, methods, and sequence.
• Select, position, and secure blades or fixtures for cutting.
• Inspect and measure work to ensure specifications are met.
• Set controls to regulate speed, feed, depth, and angle of cut.
• Collaborate with management to resolve machine or cutting problems.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
