Gabletek Robotics and Controls Solutions in Novi, MI is seeking a reliable Saw Operator to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will cut material to exact specifications using CNC and manual saws.

You will load material with an overhead crane or by hand, handle various materials, and verify dimensions against prints. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy items, and independent work in a safety-conscious environment.

Job description

We're seeking a reliable Saw Operator to join our team, cutting material to precise specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate both CNC and manual saws (vertical & horizontal style)
• Load saw with material using overhead crane or by hand
• Handle various material types including tubing, bar stock, hot rolled and cold drawn material, and round stock
• Cut material to proper length according to prints and cut sheets
• Verify cut accuracy and dimensions against specifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate any material or equipment issues to supervision in a timely manner

Requirements

• Prior experience operating CNC and/or manual saws preferred
• Comfortable loading materials by crane and by hand
• Ability to read prints and cut sheets accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy material as needed
• Reliable and able to work independently

Schedule

• Day shift: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays required
