Lawrence Fabric & Metal Structures, Inc. is seeking a skilled Saw Operator and Material Handler to join our growing manufacturing team.

You will operate saw equipment to cut materials to precise measurements and move materials safely throughout the facility, contributing to smooth production flow and quality results. Candidates must have proven saw operation experience, read blueprints, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Saw Operator in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and precise measurements.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
• Commitment to following safety standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machine settings for accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect materials for quality and consistency before and after cutting.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on saw equipment.

• Maintain organized inventory and material storage areas.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet deadlines and daily goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or formal training in saw operation and material handling
• Hands-on experience with band saws and chop saws
• Valid Forklift Certification

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
