Job summary

Rocknrevusa is seeking a Cook and Prep staff to prepare a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items according to the Daily Prep List. You will operate broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and maintain clean hygienic stations.

The position requires at least 1 year of kitchen prep and cooking experience, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and clear communication with managers. You will follow Standard Recipe Card and participate in opening/closing checklists.

Responsibilities

• Be on time.
• Maintain proper uniform and high hygiene standards.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Refer to Daily Prep List at shift start for duties.
• Prepare meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items using broad kitchen equipment.
• Follow standard portion sizes, cooking methods, recipes and kitchen rules.
• Portion foods before cooking according to recipes.
• Keep work stations clean and sanitary, including all equipment.
• Close the kitchen properly and assist others with closing duties.
• Attend meetings and participate with improvement ideas.
• Report equipment or food quality problems to Kitchen Manager.
• Inform Kitchen Manager of product shortages.
• Adhere to Standard Recipe Card; avoid relying on memory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
