Job summary

Brenntag North America seeks a Technical Development Manager to grow market share for sensory components and functional ingredients across North American food applications. You will partner with producers, product and category managers, and field teams to translate technical attributes into customer solutions.

You will lead collaborative efforts with R&D and sales to drive successful commercialization, with strong emphasis on communication, training, and regional travel to key accounts.

Qualifications

BS or MS in food science.
Min 10 years' experience in food product development and/or technical sales.
Knowledge of savory and dairy unit operations and flavors/colors applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow markets for sensory components and functional ingredients in North American food industry.
Collaborate with producers, product managers, and sales team to identify entry into target accounts.
Engage with customer R&D to define technical needs and accelerate projects.
Ensure successful commercialization and provide training to field teams.
Travel up to 50% regionally to visit accounts and support customers.
