Job summary

iServ, LLC, a Ocala-based multi-brand hospitality company, seeks a Sauté Cook for Giovanni's Pizzeria & Kitchen in Lake Mary, FL. You will cook high-heat sauté dishes, craft sauces, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

You’ll join a culture-driven team, learn our mission and values, and contribute to delicious Italian-inspired meals. Experience with sauté pans and multi-layered dishes is required, along with a strong work ethic and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have experience cooking over high heat using a sauté pan.
• Skilled in building dishes with multiple layers consistently.
• Must be able to prepare multiple high-quality dishes with speed and precision.
• Highly skilled in preparing sauces and ingredients.
• Possess great listening skills with an eagerness to follow directions.
• Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently, while maintaining a high level of accountability.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and practicing our mission, values, and objectives
• Cuts, weighs, or measures ingredients according to provided instructions
• Prevents the spoilage of ingredients through proper storage in designated containers and in designated area
• Monitors the temperature of food and food storage areas
• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes
• Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant
• Wash all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses
• Correctly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas
